One year ago, the Belgian government promised to impose sanctions on Israel for its crimes in Palestine. Till now several promises have not been fulfilled and Israel’s violations of international law remain unpunished.

More than 75,000 Palestinians have been starved, shot, or murdered. There are still no sanctions imposed on Israel. Last week, “A Red Line Coalition” including Belgian trade unions La Centrale Générale FGTB, ABVV/FGTB and ACV/CSC organised a sit-in protest in Brussels to pressure the Belgian government for action and accountability for Israel`s crimes.
